Between Silence and Structure II explores the fragile boundary between the constructed city and the open space that surrounds it. Dense layers of architectural traces accumulate across the lower part of the composition, while the upper field gradually opens into a quieter, atmospheric expanse. Fine intersecting lines extend across both territories, connecting what appears solid with what remains undefined. They evoke routes, structural frameworks, networks, and trajectories, yet resist forming a stable architectural order. Fragments of turquoise emerging through the muted grey surface introduce moments of openness — glimpses of air and distance within the density of the urban field. The contrast between the heavily layered lower zone and the restrained upper space creates a tension between accumulation and emptiness, material presence and silence. The city appears to exist at a threshold: simultaneously expanding, dissolving, and searching for its own structure. In Between Silence and Structure II, Vahagn Bagoyan transforms the urban landscape into a meditation on spatial balance — on the point at which architecture ends and something less tangible begins.
